This TV-program starts with a portait of flutist Erik Bosgraaf
Then continues with the famous songs 'Des Knaben Wunderhorn' of Gustav Mahler.

Presenter Hans Haffmans searches for the story behind these folksongs. Among others, he visits singer/songwriter Jan Rot, who made some special translations of the songs into Dutch. Robbert Muuse will be performing a few songs, accompanied by pianist Micha van Weers.
